A high density, thin, weighted material created with mass loaded fused vinyl and no lead fibers weighing in at 1 lb per square foot (available in 2lb as well ) and about 1/8" standard thickness ANC Mass Loaded Vinyl is the product to stop noise in new construction. Product comes in rolls and can be ordered in custom sizes and can help achieve STC ratings of 66 based on usage and construction method.
Apply to any floor, ceiling or wall to stop noise and completely block noise transmission.
